Ramphis Kumar is an internationally experienced dancer, instructor, and choreographer born in Panama City (PTY) and raised in Puerto Rico. His early training includes studies in swimming, salsa, theatrical dance, and jazz.

Seeking to expand his professional career, Ramphis relocated to the United States, where he worked and trained with Fred Astaire Dance Studios in Virginia Beach, Boca Raton, and Boynton Beach. During this time, he refined his competitive ballroom career while teaching and mentoring students at multiple levels.

In 2016, Ramphis joined forces with Jenny Levina at Dance Flavor, continuing to compete, perform, and teach internationally. His career has taken him to stages and classrooms across Spain, Italy, France, England, Gibraltar, and Portugal, as well as extensive work throughout Puerto Rico, Panama, and the United States, including performances and teaching engagements in South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia Beach, and New Jersey.

Now based in Panama City (PTY), Ramphis is a co-founder of Ballroom Dancing PTY and More, where he continues to inspire dancers through discipline, artistry, and personal growth.​​​
